                           Depression

is a treatable problem. It is not a result of personal weakness. You cannot rid
yourself of depression by wishing it away, or trying to just "snap yourself out of it"
Depression is an imbalance of brain chemicals. It is brought on by a mixture of biological
and environmental stresses. It is estimated that twenty million Americans each year suffer
from depression and only a third of those people seek help.
Depression will ruin your life
and the lives of those you love. There is no quality of life when you are depressed, only
survival. The longer you wait, the more it consumes you.

                                                          Symptoms

  • Prolonged sadness or unexpected crying spells, feelings of guilt and worthlessness.
  • Significant changes in appetite and sleep patterns, loss of energy and persistent
    lethargy.
  • Irritability, anger  worry, agitation, anxiety, unable to concentrate, indecisiveness
   and pessimism.
  • Recurring thoughts of death or suicide.

If you feel any of these symptoms on a regular basis, you may wish to take the depression
screening test at the bottom of the page. Certain types of depression can have very subtle
symptoms, while others may create feelings and thoughts of suicide. (If you are
experiencing any of these thoughts or feelings, please call 911 right away and ask for help).
Whichever the symptoms, I can help you resolve this issue by teaching the skills necessary
to change. So what are you waiting for. Things do not change by themselves. You can not
get motivated waiting for change to happen. You must be proactive, so pick up that phone
 and call me at;
