I am from the Bronx in New York. My family relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 1965.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at California State University
Northridge. I proceeded to obtain my Master of Social Work degree from California
State University Long Beach.
I completed an internship at Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, CA.
I completed a second year internship at Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic, in Los
Angeles, CA.
I have since been employed in hospitals, counseling centers, schools,mental health
settings, and private practice.
My theoretical orientation comes from my deep passion to help people in a timely
and professional manner. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Counseling, Positive Psychology, Gottman
Marriage Counseling and the development of emotional intelligence.
