Safe Journey Counseling was founded by Michael Harmon in 1996. I was born in Bronx, New York. My family relocated to Los Angeles
 California when I was 10 years old. I graduated California State University Northridge with bachelor degree in psychology. I earned my
 master's degree in social work at California State University Long Beach. I graduated Harvard University with a degree in mind/body
 medicine. I completed an internship at Los Encinas Psychiatric Hospital in Pasadena California. This is where I met the famous Dr.
 Drew, (otherwise know as the love doctor). Under his guidance I was able to gain a wealth of experience working with couples from
 the movie industry, television industry and the music industry.  

 After completing my internship at Los Encinas Hospital I completed a second internship at Los Angeles Child guidance Clinic, where I
 gained more experience working with children, adolescents and families. I then returned to Los Encinas Hospital where I worked with
 Dr. Drew until relocating to Scottsdale Arizona. I specialize in helping couples, those who are thinking about marriage and those who are
 married. I also acquired a great deal of knowledge working with adolescents, people that are very depressed and those that are struggling
 with substance abuse issues.
